Know How Adsense Works To Make Money
You should remember that the most important thing to make money with Adsense is that it all comes down to keywords. Now, let’s see carefully how Adsense works from start to finish so you will understand a little more about which way to choose those keywords. Here are some tips for you to know what the advertiser is thinking of.
It all starts with the Advertiser. The advertiser pays Google each time someone clicks on his ad and, if that ad happens to be on your site, then Google pays YOU.
What this means to YOU:
Advertising rates are based on keywords and the advertisers actually have to bid on those keywords. They do the same keyword research that you do but for a different reason. They want to know not only how many people are searching for that word and what their competition is, but they also need to know how much it’s going to cost them every time someone clicks on their ad.
Here’s what happens:
The advertiser chooses a keyword, say “Cheap Dog Collars”. And he agrees that he will pay $ .50 every time someone clicks on his ad. He doesn’t necessarily have to use the words “Cheap Dog Collars” in his ad. What he’s paying for is to have his ad placed on websites that use the keyword “Cheap Dog Collars” because he found that to be a high search/low competition keyword for his product.
That’s where you and Google come in. If you use the keyword “Cheap Dog Collars” in your content, then Google will see it and place that ad on your site. And if someone clicks on it then you will get a portion of that $ .50 that the advertiser paid Google.
That’s why it’s so important for you to use keywords properly when you’re trying to make money with AdSense. You want to make it as easy as possible for Google to match the ads to your site.
How do You Use This to Your Advantage?
If you’ve used the keyword “Cheap Dog Collars” in your content then every time someone searches for that term your site is going to come up in the index. And if you’ve written a quality article that’s informative and engaging, that searcher will be even more curious and click that AdSense ad. And when they do you might make 5 or 10 cents.
But there may be another keyword, relevant to dog collars, that pays $ 1.00 every time someone clicks on it. Or maybe one that pays $ 10.00. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to find the highest paying keywords, relevant to your niche, and write keyword rich, quality content around those words.
