This simplicity of affiliate marketing allows people to start a Web based business immediately at low cost and minimal risk. It is very easy to join affiliate programs and there is nothing to lose. Many affiliate marketers are tempted to join as many programs as they can. However, being a successful affiliate marketer can be a huge challenge.

Given that the affiliate programs best known as a high reward, low risk to start a Web based business alternative, I started my Web based business as an affiliate marketer. I own no product. I did not have to build my own Web site. The program owners supply me the customized web pages with my affiliate ID attached. I build my online income by promoting those web pages.

When the visitor buys, Amazon pays a commission to his affiliate marketer. The affiliate never has to write a book, process an order, ship a book or answer customer inquiring.

The identical scenario applies to a different product that is sold in this process… photographs, travel, digital products, even kittens and cats!

It is one of the best chances for the average person interested in starting a Web based business. And it is a wonderful money making opportunity model for those who publish information.
